You are the Best!

"Raincoat Pixie"

Woo Hoo..lots of layers going on here!  Paper-piecing, too!  I admire everyone else's paper-piecing and decided to dive in.  It's fun and really makes the image.  Because of the paper-piecing, there was very little coloring.  Just the hair, the umbrella and the buttons. I am so proud of my crocheted flower and need to sit down and make some more.  I think, I used a record number of buttons on my card! 

It was a rainy day all day yesterday and this card fit in perfectly with the weather.  We really needed the rain to wash away some of the pollen in the air and cool things down.  High 80's is way too hot for March!  

Recipe:
Stamps -  Raincoat Pixie (?), Sentiment (Hampton Arts)
Paper - Quite Contrary (My Mind's Eye)
Coloring - Paper-Piecing and Copics
Misc -  Buttons, Crochet Flower, Floss, Rectangle dies (Spellbinders), 1" circle punch (SU!), gemstone.
