Cardabilities Sketch 53

It's April 15th and a new sketch at Cardabililties.
  I am absolutely delighted to join the Cardabilities Design Team for the next 3 months.  A new sketch is posted on the 15th and the 30th of each month. 

A warm welcome to the new and returning Cardabilities Designers.

A great sketch!



I had a lot of fun with the new sketch.  I went with a "new baby" theme.  I found the perfect paper to go with my little blue bird.  I actually put my Copic markers aside and pulled out my ink and used a rubber stamp and colored pencils and OMS for the image.  I am thoroughly enjoying the challenge of working with a card sketch.  I added some die cut leaves, a blue crocheted flower, a button and a little tag, too.  Lots of sweetness, just like a new baby!

Stamps - Bird (CraftSmart), Sentiment (Cute Converse, SU!)
Paper - Baby (DCWV), Blue, green and white card stock, watercolor paper
Coloring - Colored pencils, OMS
Misc - Leaves die (Sizzix), Word Window punch (SU!), Crocheted flower, Button, Floss, Oval Dies (Spellbinders)
