There is never a good time to make a sympathy card. It's always a sad occasion, but it means so much to the recipient. This is one kind of card that I never have on hand.
My husband's roommate from college lost his father this week and we wanted to let his family know that we are sharing in their sorrow, too. I immediately grabbed my "Thoughts and Prayers" SU stamp set. It's my go to set for sympathy cards. I don't know why, but I always keep sympathy cards on the simple side. I stamped the branch and the sentiment on some white card stock and embellished the flowers with a tiny punched white flowers and mini black brads. I layered the top panel with black card stock and then adhered the whole piece to a white card base. Quick, easy and ready to be mailed!
RECIPE:
