I haven't made any clothing items lately and was needing a baby girl gift, I decided to pull out my stamps and a plain white onesie and get creative. I used an older stamp set from Autumn Leaves. I used Versa Magic Ink from Tsukinek. It is a multi surface chalk ink and worked really well on the fabric. Just make sure you put something, like a piece of paper or chipboard inside the onesie so that the ink doesn't bleed through to the back. After stamping, I let the ink dry well and then heat set it with an iron to make sure it will stay permanent. I added a buttons to the centers of each flower and a little green gingham bow to each stem. This gift was pretty quick and easy to make in no time at all and it reminds me of Spring.
Speaking of Spring...is it still really February? I can't get over this weather that we have had this winter. So much for the winter clothes, they have been forgotten. It has been such a mild winter and I am not complaining. There are so many things in bloom right now, daffodils, Forsythia bushes and Bradford Pear trees and it is a beautifully sunny day.

Now, off to make a matching card and look for some cute green gingham shorts to match.
