Santa Gift Card Holder

Oh yes, it's time to put my latest addiction, Pinterest to work.  I always like to have a cute holder for my gift cards and I took inspiration from all the Santa designs out there on Pinterest and various blogs to put together this Santa Gift Card Holder.

I started with some red card stock, adding a white scalloped piece and some black brads.  The belt is a piece of ribbon and the belt buckle was cut out using the 2 smallest square dies from Spellbinders.  The glittery gold paper came from Hobby Lobby.

The inside piece that holds the gift card is just a piece of red cardstock that has the corners rounded and a couple of slot punches in the bottom to help hold the gift card.  I added a black eyelet and some ribbon to the top.

Here is the set side by side.

So cute...I chose the image, Bearing Christmas Gifts to showcase.  I love everything about this image...the bear, the Christmas tree and the sled with presents.  I used my 1" circle punch to make the scallop border.  The strip of DP is from Debbie Mumm and the sentiment is a stamp from Studio G.
Thanks so much for blog hoppin' with D2D! We hope you will join our FREE Stamp of the Month Challenge. Remember, all New Release Digital Stamps will be on SALE until Nov 23. Details HERE.

Catching Flakes Challenge

October Free Digital Stamp Challenge

 This month’s image is

 “Catching Flakes"

Catching Flakes

It's not too late to play along.  You have until Monday, November 19th, at 11:59pm EST.

I have fallen in love with the color combo of red and gray.  What an adorable snowman that Faith has created!  Once again, I used the snowflakes embossing folder from The Paper Studio on the red panel.  The Gray Polka Dot paper is from Recollections and has become on of my favorite DP's.  After coloring my image with Copics, I drug out and dust off my liquid pearls and added a little dimension to the small snowflakes. The snowflake punch is from MS.  The sentiment stamp is from Studio G.

Hello Sunshine

Here is another freebie from Paper Smooches.  I am becoming hooked on their cute designs and sentiments.  I used a strip of DP from DCWV (Lemon Flower Stack).  It has some sparkle to it. I added a gray border (Upper Crest Border punch by Fiskars)to the bottomThe sunshine, which was colored with a couple of yellow Copic markers, is popped up with foam dimensionals. It reminds me of the song, You are my Sunshine... It's a clean and Simple card that was quick and easy to put together.
