Love is in the air...That's what I think of when I look at this card that I created.
I made this card for a publication call with a hot air balloon theme, but it wasn't pick up. I guess, not what they were looking for? I used the patterned paper from the Love Me Do Collection by My Mind's Eye. I really like the turquoise/red combo. I started with a white card base and then cut out a small piece of turquoise card stock and punched the bottom edge with the Lattice edge punch by Martha Stewart. I added pieces of the DP and ribbon. The sentiment is stamped in red ink and then I added red metal hearts from ColorBok, layered with a piece of turquoise card stock and adhered with foam tape.
I am entering this card in the following challenges:
Stamptacular Sunday - grids
Corrosive Challenges - used unused craft stuff (DP & metal hearts in my case)
Cinema Saturday - use metal
Daring Cardmakers - All up in the air
Alphabet Challenge Blog - U for unused stash (DP & metal hearts)
Cute Card Thursday - Birds or Butterflies
Thanks for stopping by!
