Teacher Appreciation Week

It's Teacher Appreciation Week and here are some ideas to thank that special teacher.

How about a pencil card?  Real easy to make by taking a standard card base (5.5" x 4.25") and rounding one end and cutting a diagonal on the opposite to make the pencil point.  I used my paper crimper (wow...it's been forever since that tool has been used!) and some silver paper to create the metal band.  A pair of jumbo scallop scissors created the lead of the pencil.  It was a fun shaped card to make.

This is a quick easy card to make.  I sell lots of these to a local school shop to resell.  The apples are made with a Martha Stewart apple punch.  I punched the apple twice.  Once in green and once in the red patterned paper.  I cut the leaf part off of the patterned paper and adhere it to the green piece with some foam tape.  A set of these would be a great gift for a teacher.

Last but not least is a card purse.  You can find all the details to make these on SCS and they come together very quickly and easily.  I made a few simple notes cards (6) to go with the purse.  The patterned paper is from DCWV.

Thanks for stopping by!
