Paper Piecing Presents

Just a little tongue twister for you today...Paper Piecing Presents.  This is a rejected submission for a popular paper crafting magazine.  It was all about techniques and I did my best using paper piecing and keeping it on the easy side for all levels of card makers.  But, sometimes you win and sometimes you don't and life goes on and I just keep making more cards because it is my creative outlet and what makes me happy.

I used the Be Loved collection of papers by My Mind's Eye for this card.  I stamped the row of presents on the card and then stamped them again on the different patterned paper, cut them out and adhered them on the card.  I added the pearls from Recollections to each present and stamp the sentiment in black ink.  The sentiment is from Studio G.  Two strips of patterned paper, one plain and one with a scalloped edges were layered and added to the left edge of the card and then tied with a sheer ribbon.

Thanks for stopping by today!
